SICOVIN V.1.0 software has been specifically developed for the analysis and the steady-state design of vinasse concentration systems of up to five effects, used in sugar cane ethanol production. It has been encoded in Visual Basic applications for Microsoft Office Excel, which allow data entry through friendly windows and permit correcting values easily. Moreover, the results obtained are shown on three organized screens: schematic, graphical and a factsheet, for an easier interpretation.
