The objective of this work was to determine the factors that influence the yield of Pinus tropicalis Morelet and Eucalyptus urophylla S.T.Blake seeds at EFI Macurije. Two seed masses were sampled by simple random sampling, establishing circular plots of 500 m2 from where normal diameter (Dn), crown diameter (Dc), total height (Ht), crown height (Hc), were calculated in order to determine the average cup diameter (Dcopa), the cup area (Scopa), and the cup volume VGcopa afterwards. The personnel involved in this activity in the company was also sampled through a survey. It is concluded that transportation, tools lack and fuel availability are the factors of anthropic nature that influence the vertiginous development of this activity as well as the analysis of the trend of Pt seeds production at high temperatures, rainfalls and wind force climatic factors are those that have influenced the geometry of seed collection in the period 2006-2014.
