Present text analyzes the receptions and readings of the Russian Revolution carried out by a group of historians of Santiago del Estero in 1917. In the mit shows the interest to realize a description of the revolutionary process that served to the interests of the sectors workers, who were wanted to represent. Through the study of the arrival of revolutionary ideas originated in Russia from the discourses historiografic is intended to provide an overview of the disputes that originated in the labor movement and other sectors of the elite in Santiago del Estero.
