PAYERAS GRAU, María. “La vida que yo viví en sus versos”. Los poetas de “la otra sentimentalidad” en diálogo con Jaime Gil de Biedma. Olivar [online]. 2020, vol.20, n.31, pp.75-75. ISSN 1852-4478.  http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.24215/18524478e075.

This article explores the link between the works of the poets of la otra sentimentalidad and Jaime Gil de Biedma, whom they vindicate as precedent for their theories on poetry. This general topic is divided into three blocks. The first of them deals with the tributes to Gil de Biedma, which - because of the drive of and/or the collaboration with the young poets of the Spanish Transition - took the form of monographic journals. One of these journals would be devoted to the analysis and dissemination of narrators and poets of the half century, while the others were solely concerned with the figure of Gil de Biedma. The second block searches for the traces of Gil de Biedma’s poetry in the work of the younger poets. The final block analyses several specific poems of the latter authors, where the identity of the poetic subject becomes a reflection of the literary and vital experience of their master, Gil de Biedma.
