VILLALBA, María Soledad; ENTROCASSI, Gabriela S.  e  MARTINEZ CARRETERO, Eduardo. Proposal of ecological restoration of Amburana cearensis (Allemao) A.C. Sm. forest in the Sierra de Tartagal, Salta-Argentina. Multequina [online]. 2021, vol.30, n.2, pp.227-245. ISSN 1852-7329.

This paper proposes restoration strategies for the Amburana cearensis (Allemao) A.C. Sm. (“roble criollo”) located in the Sierra de Tartagal (Salta, Argentina) through the implementation and adaptation of assisted natural regeneration techniques. Amburana cearensis is a valuable timber species categorized as endangered. The strategies and techniques designed arise from the floristic study carried out at the community level, where the floristic composition of the forest, the number of species, their abundance and density were determined. The strategies proposed in this work could be replicated in other areas of northern Argentina that harbor A. cearensis forests in similar conditions of vulnerability.
