POZZIO, María. Más allá de la clase de Anatomía: Redefiniendo 'femenino' y 'masculino' en la práctica profesional de la medicina mexicana. Mora (B. Aires) [online]. 2017, vol.23, n.1, pp.92-110. ISSN 1853-001X.
As part of a larger study on the feminization of medicine in Mexico, the article discusses the way in which certain categories that account for the feminine and masculine are being transformed and may account for subtle level changes gender configurations in the medical profession. The usefulness of an anthropological approach is well posed in the study of gender relations and the need to analyze these from professional settings, especially in the medical profession. The senses around terms like "strength", "sensation", "feminized" and "masculinized" are a gateway to understanding how changes occur around the ideas of feminine and masculine, and what to do women and men.
