The aim of this article is to recovery the studies of José Daniel Cesano, who is a legal historian and judge, from a cross about an alternative and clarify perspectiv of the positivist criminology in Argentina, his terms of receptions and spreading. The study and methodology about this objetc encourage news questions in the legal historiografy and about the judicials practices.
