This paper aims at reading El pecado original de América by H. A. Murena from a philosophical perspective, focusing on the concepts of “transobjectivity” and “double fall”. The objective is to demonstrate three ideas: 1) American trans-history differs from European post-history; 2) the trans-objective human being is a phantasm; and 3) American reality requires an extra-onthology.
