This text is part of the Colombian Billboard doctoral research project at the University of Granada (Spain). It’s about the modernization of Cali through the stamp (1910-1944). The main theme of this text is the history of graphic design and its content focuses on the poster as a cultural object and its main features. The poster is a window and a mirror in which we can understand a society in a specific period of time, reason why, the cartels have become reference of the modern world.
