Year by year, the visualizations of fashion films on YouTube and Vimeo are multiplied. It is mandatory for large brands to hire renowned filmmakers to generate audio-visual pieces that capture the lifestyle of the brand and can manage to capture as many audiences as possible, without losing sophistication and elitism. But what is really a fashion film? And what are the limits of this new language? The truth is that we talk about a product that is between the cinematographic and the advertising, bordering the limits of video art and publishing.
