From the design of audiovisual media, it is very common to find several problems when it comes to directing a project of installed audiovisual experiences. One of the main problems that arise is the very concept of the installation's spacetime in relation to audiovisual discourse. This implies considerations for thinking about the conceptions of time and space that the subject participating in the experience must make. From these conditions the questions arise: How to articulate an audiovisual discourse in a space and a time in an epistemological field that becomes diffuse, lacking of clear rules and in constant mutation and hybridization? The theoretical basis of spare time is put into play to demarcate the field in its design mechanisms of the installed audiovisual experience.
