I intend to develop an interactive essay proposal on the cosmist theories and the perception of the relationship between life and death by Western cultures. A theoretical framework for the future development of an essay in an interactive and docufictional format will be based on the above theme. The title of the essay is the Museum of Immortality. Within the theoretical framework I will first put into context the previous research that originated the interactive essay project. Then I will specifically address the immersive narratives and will discuss which elements belonging to them will provide me with tools for the realization of the interactive prototype. Through the specialized bibliography on immersion I will try to find out which techniques from the immersive narratives can contribute to the construction of the essay.
