Tecnologías sociales como un emergente territorial: aportes para un modelo de gestión del hábitat popular: Experiencia matriz para pilares de conexión eléctrica, Mar del Plata, Argentina. This paper aims to contribute to the discussion concerning management options in the fi eld of social habitat. Working on the theoretical assumptions of the area known as Technologies for Social Inclusion, we analyze the experience of the project for manufacturing concrete pillars for home electrical connections in the Alto Camet neighborhood, in the city of Mar del Plata. The concept of Technologies for Social Inclusion is still under construction; it is an area that requires concrete territory-based research in order to understand its inquiries in depth. Within this framework, we focus on two-axis of analysis. The fi rst relates to the artifact; in this case, the wooden mold or form to make the electrical connection pillars, both as a solution to a problem and as the result of a complex, interactive process of social and technical construction within which technological systems, people, institutions, the State, private companies, civil society organizations and specifi c territories are involved.. The second axis is the dynamics of this process itself as the basis for technological and productive innovations, as well as for sociopolitical changes.
