Means of circulation as a premise to confict: outline of its current materialization in the province of San Luis/Argentina This paper proposes an approach to the processes and means of commodity circulation as an interpretative key of urban conficts, based on recognizing the relevance that its rules and patterns imply for the systematic exercise of capitalist dispossession, predation and exploitation. Commodity circulation is a dense tissue that defines a specifc dynamic in the economic-productive sphere of a society as a whole. These are fows with a predominant relational impact, with historical and spatial visibility in social structures and functions, as well as in the extension, density and formation of cities. Here we try to study them focusing on the notions of material surplus value and ecological surplus value, adopting a critical look regarding their ideological expression in the capitalist scenarios of the Global South. Newspaper articles, government reports and available statistics, operate as instanced images for refection, allowing the framing of some of its effects on the city of San Luis, Argentina.
