The article consists of an analysis about spatiality and territory, in light of the concept of heterotopia. This is an inquiry, essentially philosophical, about how spatial configurations and ordinations influence and determine not only our mode of moving in space, but also in our modes of life. It is about understanding space as that where human temporality occurs, reason why it is possible to say that human life is a situated life. The reflection and inquiry carried out is feed by an analysis of particular contexts, whereby is expected to analyze the way how the heterotopias, understood as other spaces (counter spaces), influence not only in our conception of space and territory, but they help us in our understanding of the nature of ways of life that, for its conditions, turn out to be also heterotopic.
