The aim of this paper is to carry out an exploratory study of the material strategies foragribusiness discourse installation in the argentinean universities. From themain dimensions recovered from the gramscian´seducation perspective, we analyze some of the initiatives developed by theagribusiness model promoters in the private and public agricultural higher education system. Finally, from this analysis, we reflect on the role of these strategies in the dispute over the agribusiness hegemony.
