The aim is to understand the contemporary technical phenomenon in the modernization of the field and the spatial division of labour linked to the companies of technical-scientific services of precision agriculture in the concentrated area of Argentina. This area is made up of the metropolitan region of Buenos Aires, the province of Buenos Aires, and the center and south of Córdoba and Santa Fe, i.e., where the technical-scientific-informational environment is most widely used. This paper is structured in three parts: first, we carry out a brief periodization of the modernization of the field from the technical phenomenon; secondly, we explain the precision agriculture as a manifestation of the knowledge of the planet; finally, we developed the territorial divisions of the work of companies linked to precision agriculture.
