This paper intends to analyze the process of political participation of young people members of Universal Young Force (UYF) considering the religious bond established with Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG). The research, f ethnographic inspiration, was carried out in 2016 during the political campaign for the municipal executive and legislative in Campos dos Goytacazes, considering the presence of young people in the situations of political campaign. The mobilization of young people of the UYF in political campaigns constitutes a form of political participation once they are linked religious and institutionally to the UCKG. That occurs due to the proximity with the Republican and his candidates, pointing out the form of “doing politics” and the resources added in the contexts of the campaign and election.
