Over the last fifty years there have been several attempts to reform secondary education. All of them were trying to make the changes that conform to this institution to the new demands of massification and transformation of culture. In the Argentine case, it is a succession of failures or inconclusive attempts. The article reviews these experiences and stops in the analysis of those early this century are seeking this harmonization.
