BOPSIN, Gustavo Barbosa  e  GUIDOTTI, Charles. Self-efficacy beliefs: a literature review in the context of physics teaching. Rev. enseñ. fís. [online]. 2021, vol.33, n.1, pp.1-10. ISSN 0326-7091.

Self-efficacy beliefs are a psychological construct developed by Bandura (2005) that helps us to understand human behavior. Such beliefs are the perceptions that an individual has about his own ability to perform a certain task, seeking a certain performance. In this work, we conducted a literature review about the self-efficacy beliefs in Physics Teaching. Eleven studies were found that dealt with the motivation of Basic Education teachers and their students; the relationship between self-efficacy beliefs and the academic education of teachers; procedures for validating questionnaires; teachers' self-efficacy beliefs in relation to specific Physics topics; the self-efficacy beliefs of university students in relation to active teaching methodology; the influence of PIBID in changing the sources of self-efficacy beliefs; and motivations of undergraduate students regarding the permanence in the course.

Palavras-chave : Self-efficacy beliefs; Physics Teaching; Literature review.
