Abstract

Under the paradigm of the studies of memory and school memories, in this article we propose to address a particular way of intertwining various stories: that of people and that of visual representations; both narratives give an account of the ways of remembering, inhabiting and appropriating the school space; We consider that the images play an important role in the production of the memories, whether individual or, as well, those that are produced and emerge within a community, in this case, the National College "Rafael Hernández" (UNLP ) With the stories of alumni who attended between the end of the 1960s and the mid-1970s in this educational institution, together with the memorialization marks, we aspire to understand how members of a particular school community appropriate the Recent past and produce new meanings today.
