The piece of work here presented is based on an investigation which is currently being carried out. This investigation deals with a problem wich is being debated in today's social sciences. Broadly, we study the migration processes which have as main aim the search for new work opportunities in different regions. Particularly, we study such processes in the migration of Bolivian families who arrive at the city of Santa Fe in order to work in the horticultural production fields which are located in the North of the city. In this article we raise the issue of work insertion of Bolivian immigrants who, for almost four decades, have been settling in an horticultural fields neighbourhood of Santa Fe. We will highlight those processes wich allow to analise the spread of nets as a strategy that expresses the permanence of Bolivian workers in the zone
