The article raises a reflection on the state of the situation in the face of COVID-19 of the work cooperatives of the Department of the Capital of the Province of Santa Fe. From semi-structured interviews a diagnosis is made on different socio-economic aspects of the sector, operation of cooperative organizations and their link with each other and with the State. Depending on the survey carried out, the critical, heterogeneous and unequal aspects within the cooperative sector stand out and, despite the critical context, the moderate optimism in future prospects.
