We present interventions carried out on violence in sexual and affective ties, through two university extension projects (2018–2019), based on the experiences of women in popular urban areas of Cordoba. We worked with a transformative methodology of participatory action research expanded from feminist views. In this framework of feminist participatory research, various techniques were included: in–depth individual interviews; participant observation; focus groups; workshops and autoethnography. Through cartography and feminist circles, collective knowledge was generated about how sexual violence is experienced in one’s own bodies. As researchers and participants, we find that these types of violence cross us as a society and devalue life, the system generates subjection through our bodies colonized by patriarchy and the sex–gender system. Faced with this, we recover collective voices on how to imagine and create other types of sex–affective bonds, freer and more pleasant.
