The presence of Nietzschean philosophy in Argentina at the beginning of the 20th century has become increasingly prominent in reception studies. Among the many names that show a Nietzschean influence, the case of Juan Carlos Paz deserves special attention. Considered one of the most relevant Latin American musicians and theorists, the scope of his aesthetic-philosophical ideas offers a fertile ground for investigating this reception. This paper focuses on analyzing a possible Nietzschean influence in Paz's contributions to two anarchist publications: the "Suplementosemanal" of the newspaper La Protesta (1922-1923) and the journalLa campana de palo (1925 and 1927).
