The text by Carl Einstein (1895-1940) presented here in Spanish was first published in French in 1929 in the inaugural issue of the journal Documents (1929). Within the framework of a unique disciplinary intersection, in which the history and theory of art are approached from innovative theoretical perspectives such as anthropology, sociology, and cultural ethnology, "Aphorismes méthodiques" attests to the theoretical turn that Einstein had taken towards ethnology since the mid-1910s.
