It is well known that the development of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) had profound repercussions on Argentine society and on the large community of Spanish immigrants residing in the country. These segments were actively mobilized and promoted a broad solidarity flow in the context of the war in their homeland. In order to contribute to the better knowledge of this topic, This paper aims to analyze the distinctive characteristics that acquired the participation of Spanish migrants within the organizations and groups of solidarity that were founded in the Argentine capital in order to help rebellious fraction of the peninsular army.
