This article focuses on “Peronismo de Base” (PB), one of the most important organizations of the alternative trend of revolutionary Peronism, in the 1970s. After a general characterization of the organization, we concentrate on the reconstruction of its origins in two important regions: Córdoba and La Plata, Berisso y Ensenada in the period 1970-1973. From a regional and comparative analysis, we seek to reconstruct the organizational structure of the PB, the definitions around the link between Peronism/Revolution, and the positions assumed around the armed struggle. The empirical reconstruction is based on the review of documents from the PB and the Peronist Armed Forces (FAP), magazines of that time, and documents prepared by the Security Forces, as well as oral interviews with militants of the regions studied.
