This paper addresses the study of the measures taken at the beginning of the 20th century to direct public behavior and leisure activities in the Argentine National Territories as a mechanism to achieve the construction of citizens framed within the ideals of the ruling class.

The spirit and content of laws, codes and resolutions that were promoted to be applied in these spaces are analyzed, in which, due to the characteristics of their social bodies in the process of formation, promising results could be expected. Reference is made to the application of these measures particularly in one of the Territories chosen as an example (Chaco), presuming similar scenarios in other jurisdictions of this type.
