Estudios y perspectivas en turismo is a publication analysing tourism from the perspective of the social sciences, forming an interdisciplinary forum for the expansion of the frontiers of knowledge in this subject. It contains anonymously refereed articles on tourism issues: economic, social, geographic, anthropological, ecological, psychological, etc.

Frequency: bimonthly (6 issues/year).

From 2009 journal has changed its frequency from four-monthly to bi-monthly.
