From the encounter wiht the characterization that Cornejo Polar made of the Latin American critic, to repair a common misunderstanding while listening to the cumbia song, this work outlines a series of problems around reading and theory as praxis in the present. Starting at the misunderstanding, and the development of a broad notion of rhythm, a way of the theoretical linked tot he loving encounter is conceptualized.
